Hello,

My name is Austin Bucher. I am a junior in High School, starting the application process of college. I am very interested in the Ohio State University. You may be wondering why I have created a blog titled, "Sponsor my MacBook" but I have just recently found a new phenomenon popping up in the Apple world- laser etched Macbooks. I realize that I will be doing everything I can to pay for college and the price of a Mac just adds to the expenses. I have decided to create a blog to get sponsorships to pay for my MacBook. All of the prospective sponsors may be wondering: Why should my company sponsor a high school student to buy a laptop?

My answer:

• Your advertisement would be seen throughout a college campus for 4+ years
• I am a prospective engineering student who will be dealing with computer intensive programs daily, as will my peers who will constantly ask about the logos on my laptop
• Incredibly cheap form of advertisement, $50 a square inch
• I plan on joining ROTC and hopefully will take this laptop over to the Middle East during my time on Active Duty
• Many professors in college will see your logo
• You are helping a student succeed and reach his goals

I believe that, although, I am not a rich marketing consultant or an entrepreneur who travels the world with his laptop, I will help your business be seen by many college students, professors, and peers without your business having to spend the time and effort on costly marketing ideas.
